Friend of Below the Surface Jodie Nelson is an activist in her own right. She is a former pro surfer, Stand Up Paddle Surfing Ambassador, owner of the SUP Spot, close friends with Larry the Whale who accompanied her on a paddle from Catalina Island to Dana Point earlier this year, and she has a brother who walks the walk.
