Jodie Nelson - professional surfer and owner of the The SUP Spot is bringing the sport of surfing into the Atchafalaya River and awareness of the impact of river pollution and sediment blockages to the surfing community. She has generously offered her "Mean Green Machine" a 12 foot long Stand Up Paddleboard to Below The Surface for our expedition this week.
